Today, we will be reading the book, “Those Shoes.” It’s written by Maribeth Boelts, and illustrated by Noah Z. Jones. In this book, a young boy “Jeremy” really wants a pair of shoes that’s super cool. Everyone at school seems to be wearing them. But they are too expensive and Jeremy’s grandmother cannot afford a new pair. What will Jeremy do? In this book, we will see how Jeremy learns about what’s more important than having expensive things in life.
