美國紐約大學人類表演學藝術碩士。
曾遊歷世界68座城市、超過100個藝術節，
欣賞1,000+現場演出，看過2,000+電影，品讀3,000+本書。
從事劇場編導、藝術節策劃、文創品牌策劃、藝文評論工作超過25年。
持續為《北京日報》、上海《澎湃》、澳門《線上文創意文志》與臺北《遠見論壇》等刊物，發表藝術主題評論。
曾為臺北綠光劇團、上海話劇藝術中心、上海國際藝術節擔任導演，其作品為：
「將你的手放在我的手心」、「情書」、「一場穿越歷史的音樂會」。
曾任三屆臺北藝術節藝術總監。
曾任奧斯卡服裝設計金像獎得主葉錦添，在臺北故宮《時代的容顏》特展製作人。
三屆「國際演評人協會」（IATC）臺灣區主席。
上海世博會城市廣場藝術節藝術總監。
德國GQ雜誌總編輯特撰文稱讚其策展：“臺北藝術節是臺灣重要的文化風景”。
在臺北、上海、北京、河內、柏林、倫敦、都靈等地，進行超過300場以上藝術講座。
出版著作：
表演藝術入門書《我的看戲隨身書》、《我的看舞隨身書》、《安福路288號》等三本戲劇專書。
