【Introduction】
The 20th Anniversary Special is a series that celebrates art and humanity through story-telling. Story-telling is an innate ability that constructs our own identity and connects us with others. In this edition, we invite our close international collaborators to share their personal stories with us. This week we welcome our wonderful partner, the Museum of Contemporary Art Busan.

Introduction:
Inaugurated in 2018, the Museum of Contemporary Art Busan (MOCA Busan) is a Busan-based public art museum that focuses on contemporary art. It aims to introduce a new trend in the arts, focusing on contemporary art including new media art. The issues of nature and ecosystem are also top priorities since they are closely related to the geographical environment of the art museum and the future of humankind. As human beings and the citizens of Busan are at the center of the operating the art museum, MOCA Busan takes into profound consideration the role of education through art and culture and the relationship between art and daily life.
Collaborative projects:
MOCA Busan exhibition this May “Sustainable Museum: Art and Environment” examines the effects of various activities in the art museum on the ecological environment and devise practical action plans for the sustainability of the art museum. The exhibition includes live-streaming of two artworks of MoCA Taipei’s 20th-anniversary exhibition series. This September, MoCA Taipei’s MoCA Video program will be featuring two Korean participating artists from the “Sustainable Museum: Art and Environment.”

20週年特別企劃以故事敘述慶祝藝術與人性。人天生具備說故事的能力，我們透過故事敘述建立自我認知以及與他人的連結。此企劃我們邀請與當代館關係緊密的國際夥伴分享他們的個人故事。這周，我們歡迎我們的夥伴釜山現代藝術館。

簡介：
開放於2018年，釜山現代藝術館為針對當代藝術所設立的公立美術館，目標為引進最新的藝術趨勢，並專注於當代藝術，其中也包含新媒體藝術。此外，作為結合自然地域特色的場館，關乎人類未來的生態系統也是藝術館首要關注的議題之一。釜山現代藝術館將人類與釜山居民視為運作的樞紐，並在藝術與文化、藝術與日常生活的關係之中扮演教育者的角色。

合作計畫：
釜山現代藝術館今年五月展覽「永續博物館：藝術與環境」，檢視美術館活動對生態環境所造成的影響，以及訂定實際的應對策略使美術館更加永續，展覽現場直播兩件當代館20週年系列展覽作品。今年九月當代館MoCA Video將展出「永續博物館：藝術與環境」兩位參展韓國藝術家影片。
